The second wave on the hill is rough, I was already wounded at that point which made it worse. If I recall correctly I let the NPC go off and do his thing drawing fire, while I broke off to the right a bit and put down the sniper. He's prone in the tall grass, can be tricky to spot. Once I got him and his spotter or medic or whoever was with him, it made picking off the rest of them easier without fear of being sniped in the face every two seconds.

The "welcome letter" actually was an appreciation letter that was sent out at one point to current members during our SOCOM Confrontation days. That was a one time deal. (We do like to do similar things from time to time for our membership though) The patches, those are typically sent out 1 per member after 1 full year of enlistment. Which I believe you should now be eligible for. Balz has the bulk of the patches. I have a few spares too. Eitherway, we should be able to get one to you.

The single player campaign is setup in a way that it walks you through controls and such as well.

Ball uses Xpadder I believe.

Yeah, multiple perspectives would be nice, but recording does have an effect on frames per second if their system is up to it. There are no custom channels in the game, they have preset channels such as Group, Side, Global, Vehicle, etc. However, the reason for the lack of constant comms was simply an error/flaw in the recording setup on my end. Still working out the tweaks and such over here. I think Teamspeak may be a little more recording friendly in the future if we get to that point.

I apologize for the times when the camera freaks out, still messing with the controls and fine tuning.

Here's the new setup in the mancave: PS4 is located on a wall mounted TV on the opposite wall, that TV also runs HDMI into the tower and can act as a third display if needed.

He actually does some contract work for the developers too. Seems like a cool guy

I will be referencing this quite a bit at the start, and probably well into my ARMA career: http://ttp3.dslyecxi.com/

First off, Flyers. If you watch Star Wars skip the "first" 3 episodes that are just terrible acting and ILM's CGI for the sake of making Lucas cream his pants. Those were terrible. Stick with the original 3. I'll probably go see the new one JJ is working on. As far as the games. I enjoyed playing the original with you guys back in the day, there was one level where one team holds down this area while the other storms it from the beach that sticks out to me. I might pick this up for every now and then, but I don't want to over extend my online gaming just yet I still have hours worth of untouched content in those GTA heists to get to.

Now why would they bring in an AT AT in such a densely wooded area? They deserved to have that thing blown up.
-
I wont buy it at release since I have a perfectly fine copy for PS4. But I will definitely pick up a used copy or new one on sale when the right price rolls around.
-
Sooooo.... When are we doing this?
-
ok. So at first I thought this was going to be a solo adventure, but with all this interest I rearranged some things to secure a new desktop to get our ARMA on. Cant wait to try and figure out this game with you guys.
-
you wont play hardcore with me! lol
-
Yeah, like I said, this is a down the road game for me for that reason. Can't justify the new PC just for this, so I'm waiting until I can just justify the new PC in general and get this too I got other obligations to take care of first though, including the second half of the website design payment

I've been reading up on it, team play is where the fun is at, but you can lone wolf as well. There is also a ton of expansions/mods for this like the DayZ mod which seem fun. I put off my next desktop purchase for a bit, but when I do finally get one, Im definitely getting it to mess around on when console nights are slow. I really like the idea of a game that lasts years rather than until the next shiny one comes out.
