  1. My Kitty has been taken by an imperialist!

  2. balz on rips on the snipers because he doesnt have the patience for it himself :P
  3. Found this on a website, whats you're opinion? Agree? Disagree? I for one am worried to say the least Socom 4 will have no pistols, instead players will carry two primary weapons. This change allows players to equip combinations like Assault Rifles and Shotguns, Sniper Rifles and Shotguns, the list goes on. The importance of this (outside of the obvious differences between shotguns and pistols) is that it eliminates aspects of Socom's strategic gameplay. Previously, conserving ammo and learning what weapons your opponent were carrying were crucial to strategy but now these factors are negligible. Your opponents could have any second weapon and it will be almost impossible to run out of ammunition. 2. No Game Lobbies Past Socom games have featured lobbies or game channels. These lobbies allowed players to talk before matches, play specific game types or pick certain map medleys. Socom 4 will use a matchmaking system like Call of Duty were players are assigned to games. This will lead to issues assembling clans, meeting friends and you can forget trying to play a specific map. This might have been a welcomed addition but without game lobbies Socom 4 cannot meet the organizational needs of the Socom community. 3. Classic Mode vs. Casual Mode Zipper originally announced that there would be regenerating health, radar and a cover system in Socom 4. Later they added that there would be a Classic Mode without these to appease die-hard fans. The Classic mode features no respawn, no regenerating health, no radar, no cover system, and no open mic. All of which are true to Socoms past. Although the Classic mode is the one aspect Zipper seems to have gotten right, the Casual mode will undermine it's success. It is unlikely that casual gamers will be able to migrate to the far more difficult Classic mode after becoming accustomed to Casual mode. With two disconnected communities, Socom 4 will lack the chemistry that has kept previous installments alive for so long. 4. Level Learning Curve In general, the learning curve will be much more gentle, even in Classic Mode. Socom 4 will be easier to play not only because of the lack of pistols or the new Casual mode but also because of the inclusion of grenade launchers. These weapons will be crucial in the recently announced "Bomb Squad" mode in which a bomb carrier has a shotgun and a grenade launcher. In previous Socom games, grenade launchers and rocket launchers were forbidden in ranked rooms but it seems that in Socom 4 they will be required. This will lead to obvious frustration among Socom's hardcore following and will hinder team based strategies. 5. Game Type Mediocrity Easily the worst part of Socom 4 is that it will only include the Suppression game type from previous Socom installments. This means no Demolition, Extraction, Elimination, Control Points, Escort, or Breach. Basically this equates to ripping the guts out of the game. Even worse, they decided to replace them with Capture the Flag and King of the Hill type modes. This makes Socom 4 a completely different game than it's predecessors. It's unfortunate because Capture the Flag is featured in literally every shooter out there but Socom classic game types are unique to Socom. If they are deleted here, then the only way to play them is in the older games.
  4. You may remember a few months ago when we posted on the main website about Slant Six taking on a new project related to Resident Evil. We now have more information on that. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Hitting this Winter, gamers will be able to get their hands on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Our friends over at the Official Xbox Magazine have the official cover story this month, and while we'll list a few details, you'll have to pick up their May issue to find out everything! [*] The game takes place in 1998, a time where Resident Evil fans already know what's set to take place. The title lets you enjoy the series from a new perspective, as the men and women who are technically responsible for it all. [*] Rather than continuing the zombie slaying antics of BSAA agents, you're taken back to the original outbreak "that underscored both Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis." [*] The game doesn't require any crazy amounts of knowledge of the past titles or characters involved in the series. The title opens up to a "quartet of new faces". Essentially, you're playing as members of the official Umbrella Security Services squad. [*] Operation Raccoon City is a team-based shooter allowing four members of the USS team to destroy all evidence of the ongoing outbreak. Along with slaying the zombies, you're looking to "kill pretty much every survivor possible". [*] The gameplay is described as "dirty", and the series will feel much darker than it has up to this point. [*] The game features three factions that Capcom has stated make up a "three-corner conflict". The other two factions are the US Spec Ops, who are there to repel the USS, and the "bio-organic weapon monsters (BOWs) created by Umbrella. [*] The USS team is made up of the following characters: Vector, Beltway, Bertha, and Spectre. Depending on which character you choose, the responsibilities that you're asked to do within your team will variate. [*] Hunk, first seen in Resident Evil 2 as a hidden character, is the inspiration behind the USS team. [*] "Whichever team you play on, you'll be facing Umbrella-created horrors in between skirmishes with each other". [*] Zombies in the game can sense you in three different manners: sight, sound, and smell. [*] A situation is described in the game where Vector cloaks himself to stir up previously slumbering zombies to use against the Special Ops military foes. [*] Quite a few scenarios in the game aren't "all about headshots". A quote in the article states, "It's about shooting the other soldiers - manipulating the, making them bleed." [*] The game will take you through a number of familiar areas if you're a Resident Evil junkie who remembers your journey to Raccoon City. [*] Operation Raccoon City, depending on how you play the game, will give you the option to "change the history of Resident Evil". Not only will you have the chance to meet and interact with various characters from the series, but you'll even have the opportunity to kill them. [*] One of th mottos repeated to OXM throughout the demo was "Kill Leon". It's also stated that if you choose to represent in the game as the Special Ops team, that you'd more than likely have the goal of trying to save Leon Kennedy. [*] Slant Six or Capcom won't reveal if any other characters will be playable in the title just yet, but it'd make sense to see quite a few big cameos. [*] The title will still see players relying on collecting herbs to heal from any attacks you may suffer. You won't need to hoard any herbs, but they'll still benefit you to collect them throughout the game. [*] "This is not a one-versus-one game where you've got one clip full of ammo and zombies on you. If you've ever thought of those times in an RE game when you thought, 'I'd wish I had a big gun', that's what this game is. It's not fair to give people big guns, then take all the ammo away." [*] One of the pictures in the article showcases a zombie being used as a "meatshield". [*] Operation Raccoon City allows players to earn XP for kills, with these points helping you survive the onslaught, and to help to encourage you to anihilate everything in your path. [*] The XP will allow you to earn new abilities, such as Vector's cloaking skill, and new weapons. [*] Tyrants will most definitely be included in the title. There's a ton of details listed above, but there's even more listed in the May 2011 issue of the Official Xbox Magazine. Don't forget to be on the lookout for the issue to hit store shelves to get even more details on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City! I was happy with Confrontation so Im excited to see what they do with this. I've always been a huge RE fanboy since the first one for the original playstation. I guess you could say RE is to me what Star Trek is to balz.

  16. In our spreadshirt shop ( www.mxmbers.spreadshirt.com ) we offer many shirts that have a variety of "specialty" inks on them for printing. Now the previews of these shirts are pretty inaccurate as to what the final product will look like so here's some examples. METALLIC GOLD & SILVER (Photos vary by lighting) NEON COLORS SHIMMER GLITZ COLORS black blue gold silver red green pink purple CAMO (letters are cut out of this pattern) GLOW IN THE DARK Obviously just glows in the dark, much like the stars that people put on their kids ceilings.
  17. added a bunch of variations of a new design including some special prints. The metallic golds and silvers should turn out like: http://www.shirt66.de/newimages/products/cache/140626-500x500.jpg] and the silver glitz/glitter shirt for girls will look somewhat like this:
  18. just got the mXm webstore online

  19. We now have one design available online for purchase, with more coming soon! A premade shirt sporting the mXm tag on the front is available at our online store: www.mxmbers.spreadshirt.com This shirt features the tag, outlined in a metallic silver ink, filled in with a bold red and plain white ink to make it stand out. It comes in multiple colors if you don't want a black one. AND/OR If you arent happy with a short sleeve shirt, want to mess around with the colors yourself, or just want to kill a few minutes designing your own shirt, you can! CLICK THIS LINK and search for designs by "Clan mXm" and you will find all the designs we publish which you may place on any compatible product. Even hats! You may also change up the ink colors if the design allows it. Metallic, glitter, and other specialty inks may add a bit extra to your final cost.
