  3. Don't know if any of you guys have done/seen/known/heard about this yet. But for those of you who are done with the solo campaign and don't want to go to the main menu and then select multiplayer every time you are going to hop online to play with the clan or by yourself, you can set Black Ops to load the multiplayer launch screen by default. (This feature was available upon release to Xbox users, but as always us PS3 users had to wait a lil while to get it) From the Main Menu (The one that shows you sitting in the chair with the options to pick Solo, Zombies, Multiplayer etc) Go To Options At the very bottom you should see something along the lines of "Load Multiplayer By Default" (or something like that) Check That Done Next time you boot up Black Ops you'll bypass the Main Menu and go straight to the Multiplayer Menu. Nifty! And a photo for reference from Xbox but its the same on PS3
  4. The first details for Black Ops’ “First Strike” map pack have been revealed by Treyarch’s producer Dan Bunting. Talking on Major Nelson’s podcast, Bunting revealed that the First Strike map pack will hit Xbox 360 on February 1st, 2011. This release will be exclusive to Xbox Live initially (should hit PS3 and PC around a month later,) and cost 1200 MSP/$15. Black Ops First Strike map pack will be made up of four new multiplayer maps and one new Zombie map. “Berlin Wall” takes place at Checkpoint Charlie, a commonly-known crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War. “Discovery” is a arctic-based map that takes place in a snow-riddled German research station that you might recognize from the campaign. “Kowloon” is also based on a single player mission, obviously set in China. “Stadium,” which sounds the most interesting of the four new maps, will take place in a hockey rink/sports complex! Sounds good to me. And a new Zombie map called “Ascension” Some screenshots which look like they aren't quite finished yet: STADIUM DISCOVERY BERLIN WALL

Congrats to our newest core member, Deuce aka TheRealMattMatt aka Philip This USCG Aerial Gunner/ Sniper to be has been with mXm for quite some time now with no intentions or ideations of leaving. We are proud to call Deuce an mXmber. His outgoing, humerous, lovable personality is a blast in game, and as well as here on the website. We can thank Deuce for introducing us to new friends and even a new mXmber. Congrats Deuce, we are proud to have you with us and hope to see you online more once Sniper school is done!

  8. Treyarch (3arc) has just announced the first DLC content pack for Black Ops. It of course will be releasing for Xbox first (Microsoft pays for the first release privilege to try and bribe people to buy Xbox vs PS3... shitty if you ask me but anyway) Usually it's only about a month or two exclusive download then PS3 gets it, so I'm estimating we will have access to the DLC sometime in March. Im excited! ----

  13. Pending the answer de BalzOnYa... and with the blessings of our senior Core Member, I'd say go for it. Just require they sign up with the forums and post an introduction. All Xbox mXmbers must be confirmed by yourself, to avoid any confusions and fake members. All tags must be represented as "mXm" as well. No MXM, mxm, or MxM tags.

LIVE FIXES 3/17/11 (hotfix) • Addressed several Zombies exploits. • Addressed an exploit that allowed players to get outside of the designated map boundaries on Nuketown and Kowloon. • Added "Mercenary" (TDM exclusive) playlist to MP. • Disabled Split-Screen play in Mercenary playlists. 3/3/11 (Patch 1.07) New Features: • Added the in-game store. Issues Addressed: • Setting party privacy to “closed” now fully functions as intended. • Improved connectivity in matches containing multiple online split screen parties. • Calling in a Chopper Gunner immediately after getting shot down in a Gunship will no longer end the Chopper Gunner run prematurely. Required timing-specific button presses. • Split screen players are now able to change camera perspectives and cycle through players as a spectator. • Fixed rare infinite load for clients with slow connections who join on a friend at the end of a match as the final killcam is ending. • The name of a copied custom class no longer reverts back to the default after changing it. • Fixed a rare issue where gun sight lenses could appear opaque. • Addressed an issue where the most recent match played in Zombies could overwrite the best match played on the leaderboard. • Improved Zombies lobbies to prevent players from erroneously receiving the error “Unable to join game session” under certain circumstances. • Fixed rare infinite load that could occur in Zombies involving split screen parties accepting an invite into a Private Match. • Addressed a number of community-discovered Zombies gameplay exploits. • Additional security feature updates. Gameplay Tuning: • Limit the ability to re-roll supply drops using Hardline Pro to Care Packages only, no other killstreak drops. • Added a negative influencer to all spawn points to decrease the chances of spawning near an enemy. This will further improve spawning protection on top of previous updates. • Additional sound mix tuning for Ninja Pro users – increased ranges and volume of enemy footsteps, and removed player footstep sounds on concrete material types. • Increased headshot multipliers for sniper rifles. Sniper rifles with suppressors equipped will now always be ensured one-shot kill headshots. • Subtle increase in sniper rifle accuracy when scoping in. • Added a render delay to the red diamond player indicators that appear when controlling the Gunship, Valkyrie Rocket and Chopper Gunner.     Starring "The Rock" and Mr. Billy Bob Thorton It's a pretty bad ass movie. Got gets effed over. Got loses something dear to him. Guy goes out for revenge. That's I wanna say for fear of spoiling the awesomeness of this movie. It's been a while since I saw a good one like this. I highly suggest going out and seeing it. I went with the girlfriend and other than the bloody parts she loved it too.
