  1. Second Son was good. I have beat the storyline, went with "good" the whole way, and am @ 88% game completion. Might play through on evil just to see how the storyline differs.   Watchdogs is defintiely on the list.
  2. Takes a coordinated effort to bring a Bulldozer down. Usually now Srans will pop an ECM Jammer which apparently emits some sort of sound into the AI's headsets and stops em in their tracks. The Bulldozer will usually take his helmet off when that occurs. You can also use the trip mines against them, combined with well placed headshots with highpowered weapons.    Was working with a good crew last night, Srans and I with some randoms. Big missions, BIG pay outs and HUGE EXP. I looked to see if you were on Flyers. We will play again for sure.

  4. The online is where it is at. The single player is very tedious. When you get online you can really have fun with it as there are many ways in which to pull a job off. You can go in "stealth", or guns a blazin, and with the different player classes, you can combine them. When you start getting up there in rank and start doing Overkill missions, that is where the real fun begins. Huge payouts, very difficult the AI, especially with the "bulldozers" (think juggernauts fro COD) show up.   Team work is essential and it really is the only way to be successful in the higher payout missions.
  5. I echo the sentiments. It was definitely fun revisiting the game that started it all. if enough of us get this going I wuold even love to have an mXm and friends night.
  6. Its not real friendly like that. I usually make a room, set it to friends only, and send out invites.    If you change the map to show friends only, it should then only show you jobs that are empty or people on your friends list are in. Then you simply can just drop in to our job in progress.
  7. Very cool. You will not be disappointed. I haven't played in awhile but its still there and I still have some stuff to do for completion.
  8. It was a very cool trip. I was very happy to see that even with it being just a pre alpha build for a demo, its going in the direction all of us have wanted so badly since S2.    I believe once funding is secured, they are going to release the video that they have or are creating to present to the VC's.
  9. I just thought I would pay a little homage to your "dick outta the shorts" pic from last year. Hope ya have a good one brother!!
  10. Hope you have a super day.   Here is your cake:
  11. Sweet find Chad. I watched it twice, amazing how fast all that happens in real time.
  12. No worries! I am on vacation all this week. Will have plenty of time to get up with some peeps and get our criminal on.
  13. Online is where it is at. The pay outs are bigger, and as a lower level character you can get in on a higher level game and rack up the cash and exp. Plus you learn little tricks to make the job easier next time. I am def having fun with it and am just waiting for my mic to charge before I hop on.
  14. I never got into WoW or Everquest. Which is odd because I was a D&D player as a kid. I did however play The Matrix Online off and on from Beta till the servers went down, and StarTrek Online off and on.    They do not hold my attention though. They are very involved games, and I just don't have the time to play them to their full potential.
  15. Nice find. I didn't realize this game had been out this long. Like I mentioned in the shoutbox, it is definitely fun. It also really requires teamwork for the online jobs. I guess they make the bots extra stupid when you play offline, because your bots arent that bright either and you have limited control of them. I was able to do a few missions on my own and it was doable.   Soon as I got online with a four person crew, the difficulty got ramped up for sure. When Andy and I tried to do it on our own, it was way more difficult. I could blunder through (being a noob) the offline jobs, but Andy and I definitely needed to coordinate when we jumped online.   Looking forward to playing more of this with more mXm!
  16. Just a warning though. Whatever you do, do not under any circumstance mention "Canada" around Andy. Really gets him worked up.
  17. I did give MAG a solid try. But like everyone else, I could only hang in so long before it just became another game where everyone was out for themselves and not working as a team.    I played S4 for one hour and took it back to the store a few days later. It was awful and so NOT SOCOM it pissed me off. There is a handful of us that get on xlink and play SOCOM2, and some of the community over at H-Hour play Combined Assault, I've been thinking about picking up a used disc as CA is merely a wisp of a memory. From what I hear it has less lag and better hit detection.   Feel free to bring up threads from three years ago, lol, it will give us all a little something more to talk about. :clapping:
  18. Another fantastic intro. Nice to meet ya Clarence. Thanks for stopping by our little humble community and saying hello. We will be sure to get out some friend invites on the PSN.   A lot of us are in a holding pattern for a good game to come out, and we are heavily anticipating H-Hour, and some of the titles you mentioned above. We really should have a GTAV night, as I have hung on to the game in anticipation for the DLC.
  19. I gotta say that is one of the more entertaining introductions we have had. Welcome to the community! Feel free to hang out and send out some friend invites over the PSN. We will try and hook up and play together some!
  20. Correct Odin and thanks for sharing! @ Andy, you bet your ass I gave some good input! As soon as I am allowed (as in SOF studios gives the Alpha testers the greenlight) I will have a full write up on my experience at the studio and with H-Hour! Lets just say I have not been this excited about a shooter in a VERY LONG TIME.   I absolutely can say that this is the game we all have been waiting for. I encourage all of our members to get over to the H-Hour forums and get involved. They are very forthcoming with information and really thrive on the community feedback that they get from sharing screenshots or even their Alpha build video releases. They are doing something that no other studio does when it comes to these kinds of things. Knowing how rabid the SOCOM community is, and fully understanding the line in the sand they are making when they say "The spiritual successor to SOCOM 1 and 2", the devs and community leaders are actively posting and getting feedback on all sorts of aspects of the game.   So...friggen...pumped, for this game!
  21. Thanks for stopping and and I echo Kotaco's sentiment. Next time I am on the PSN I will shoot ya a friend invite and maybe we can get together and get some gaming in!
  22. Got to see this a few hours before the rest of the world, aside from the horrible audio, I am very pleased. It definitely looks like what we are wanting it to so badly be. Looking forward to 2015.
  23. He is still alive and kickin. We don't really talk these days but he and his family appear to be doing well from what I can see on FB.
