Luckily in the beginner modes, all you have to do is press the accelerator and turn...literally. It does 100% of the braking and takes care of the traction control.

I downloaded the game for PC and I must say, it is mindblowingly beautiful. I've only run about 3 races so far, but it plays really well. The cars feel like I'd imagine a real F1 car would feel like, and the sense of speed is amazing. Next step is to hook up the PS3 wheel to the PC and see what it feels like without the traction control and other assists on. Has anyone else played it? What do you think?

Wow...amazing is definitely the most appropriate word I'd say. Simply astonishing. A couple of my favourites:

The wheel definitely takes some getting used to. My first 10 or so laps of the night were ridiculous, I was used to the controller again and the wheel is just too much of a change to pick it up and drive well right away, especially the manual gearbox. I had some awesome laps until I forgot to shift gears after a turn...takes about 1/2 second off the lap each time.
