  1. Going into last lap of offline career mode, was in second place. It was a close finish. Side note - I absolutely love the sound of these Group 5 cars.
  2. I hate to say it, but given the abundance of positive reviews, with the amount of mXmbers who are getting the game, I might be inclined to possibly think about procuring it. Of course I also say that every time... Project CARS

The Aston Martin Track Expansion is out now. I bought it the other day and quickly ripped around the open test track (skid pad, 12.5mi oval, drag strip, plus more all in one course) real quck with one of the new Astons, the V8 Vantage GTE (GT3 class). Not entirely sold on the new track (although I haven't played all the setups) but the new car is quite good. Very similar to the existing GT3, but it's a V8 as opposed to the V12, it's also lower power and torque, but a couple hundred kilos lighter. I had fun driving it around, but definitely needs some tuning.

    Rocket League

Joined a quick game this afternoon, about 1:30 into the game and ended up with a pretty intense finish.

Yeah I thought so too, then I saw the gif I posted and it blew my mind. If you have enough boost you can get back to your goal seemingly faster. You can also make those real high jumps to block the ball. I also found out from reading the Reddit thread I got the gif from, that you can change your field of view, camera height, etc. Check out the last video I posted compared to the second, you'll see the difference (100 view angle vs 85 I think).

So after watching that GIF, I went into training mode, where it's just a free roam style, and tried it for myself.

    Rocket League

Had a solid 16 game night of RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRocket League with Balz, and got my nicest assist ever (out of the 70 games I've played so far).

    Rocket League

Hey now...this thread is about Rocket League. Leave your off-topic conversations at the door! Now, back on track....@BalzOnYer4Head back to our conversation last night, this is definitely a great game. It really is too bad you missed out on it while it was free though. Whenever you want to do SharePlay, let me know.
  12. The new DLC is out now! Hopefully I'll be able to get on to play tonight and test out the cars.
  13. Rowan Atkinson is also an actor with a love for cars and auto racing.
  14. My online activity is kind of hit and miss. It depends on what's going on. Once the kid is back in school it'll be more stable, but right now it's hit and miss.

No DLC here, but the host could have had it.

Who has this game? It's fun as hell. I put together a video in Share Factory of my first multi-goal game. Such a fun game to play. More mXmbers need to get it.
  17. I'm pretty excited for the 2002 Turbo (I hope it's all decked out Grp.5 style) and the 66 Mustang.
  18. Looking forward to this one! BMW 320TC BMW 2002 Turbo Ford Mustang Fastback 1966 Ford Mustang GT 2015 Ruf RT12R Ruf CTR Yellowbird Not sure what the track will be (if there is one) but I'll be getting the DLC just for the cars.
  19. I went here and followed the instructions. Got my beta code. You do need a Uplay account though. http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2015/08/10/rainbow-six-siege-beta-code-giveaway/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rainbow-six-siege-beta-code-giveaway#/slide/1
  20. http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?36676-Project-CARS-All-Platforms-Patch-3-0-Release-notes I'll summarize once I can get to my full computer. Some good stuff in it, notably more accurate cut track recognition. Still no word on the lag when someone enters an online lobby during a race.
  21. Here's the video you wanted to see my perspective from @BalzOnYer4Head And the race where I beat you right at the finish line

    SpeedTest.net

I have everything in my basement hard wired. When I was renovating, I made sure to put ethernet outlets all over the place so I can wire in my PC, Xbox, PS3, PS4, HTPC, and ran a 50ft cable up to my Roku since its wireless is absolutely useless. Rest of the house is wireless, but mostly just cell phones, tablets, and the PS3 that my son uses to watch Netflix/stream movies via DLNA.

    SpeedTest.net

Hardwired gigabit all the way. Now if only I could get 75mbps here.
