Call me old fashioned but I would rather be the one in control at all times. Might be good though for people who look at a vehicle as merely an appliance, as long as they have their own special lane and stay the fuck outta my way.
I agree with you there, but there are definitely times when I'd rather have someone else do the majority of the driving, like the 7 hour all-highway driving to my parents', or the commute to work in the morning after a late night hockey game (such as tonight). -
Has anyone else seen this?
I know there have been attempts at making a semi-self-driving car before, but nothing has come this close to being successful.
I like the concept - not to take away the driver 100%, but to act as an enhanced cruise control. This would definitely make my commute a lot easier every day.

Check out the video...very cool!
On a related note - Dakota, can we get an automotive board? -
I'd imaging it would taste a lot like this

Jesus fucking Christ.
I'm getting fed up with this shit. -
I can't stand Ben Stiller. Not a very good actor in my opinion, and he always plays the same character.
If a movie has Ben Stiller in it, it has to have an all-star cast and impeccable plot in order for me to go to it. This movie does not have either. -

Correct. Its what came loaded on it. I havent messed with linux in soooooo long I would be afraid to mess up the netbooks set up. Its perfect for what I wanted it for, and thats to keep in touch with mXm! As well as have the internet right handy whenever I need it instead of having to change my inputs on the TV to switch over to my gaming rig to just look something up.
Netbook remix isn't bad. It runs a bit faster than Windows 7 on the netbook, but honestly, I quite like Windows 7 in general. I have it on my home work computer, and my work work computer. I'm still sticking with Linux for my media PC (XBMC is fucking awesome) and netbook though. -

Indeed! I just got my Aspire One, so me and the tubes will be much more aquainted, and Ill, be checking in often.
Running Windows 7 or Ubuntu Netbook Remix? -
I've been playing GT:PSP and NHL 11. Nothing really online since I frequently have to pause/leave a game to take care of my son.
He's usually in bed by 8:00pm EST nowadays though, so I can start getting online after then. -

Downloading the public beta for PC now....should be an awesome game.

I got engaged about a week ago, so I guess that's new. Already set the date - December 21st, 2011 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Other than that, just counting down the days until GT5. I downloaded Left 4 Dead on PC to bide my time until GT comes out though, so I think that'll be helpful.
I haven't really been playing as much NHL 11 as I expected. It's a great game and all, but I just can't play 10 consecutive games like I used to.
I also really want to build myself some sort of steering wheel/pedal holding contraption so it's a bit more comfortable and natural to use the wheel. I think I'll be able to cut more time off my already improving laps. -
Always have been here, always will be.

the only thing i dont like about online, but i will still play it, is theres 2 differnt controller settings for SP and MP; and no going prone in MP.
other than that its decent.
No prone in MP? What the fuck? Apparently there are a lot of snipers, but no prone? I don't get it.
