I was a late adopter of the PS3 because I was waiting for good games to come out, but I feel the PS4 has some strong launch titles and will be pre-ordering this bad boy... great price point as well. And yes Andy, the price point of the PS3 is why I didn't buy day one.... Drive Club being made by the Motorstorm guys is a must buy for me. Im a big fan of Evolution Studios and their games.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but did they announce a PS4 version of it?

I also think for "noobs" like me, there are so many Final Fantasy games that is a bit intimidating on where to start. I know Final Fantasy VII was like the benchmark but I have no clue after that as there are so many games and spinoffs. What is your favorite?

I am a big fan of MMO games. Looking forward to Elder Scrolls Online. I never got into Final Fantasy games as I am not a fan of Anime style stuff or the games with the Japanese feel. How is the game feeling though? Curious to hear at least.

I think they are betting on DriveClub from the developers of Motorstorm, an in-house studio which I am sure is cheaper for SONY to make. Plus, Polyphony to a ridiculous amount of time to put out an above average title in GT5. It just wasn't as gripping as the others. I agree Randy, missed opportunity much like all this time they could have been developing a SOCOM title to launch with the PS4 to challenge the COD throne. I don't know why they haven't done the research to see there is a lot of value still in a true SOCOM reboot. Polyphony needs to be careful because another so-so GT title could see it dethroned by DriveClub, Forza, and even GRID2 for that matter. We shall see how it all plays out soon enough.

I didn't see this coming, but for as much time as it took to make GT5, I have a feeling this might be a re-skin cash grab to close out the PS3. I just bought the Terminal Velocity pack as well as all the Car packs (3)....Ultimate Speed Pack, Movie Legends, and Heroes pack.

Ther Terminal Velocity pack came out and has a large airport with massive jumps much like the Quarry in Burnout Paradise along with some other DLC packs. Sony just gave me $10.00 free to use in the store so I plan on picking this up. This game got buried among the many triple A titles when it released and I feel I never gave the game its due like I did with Burnout Paradise. I know Balz plays this a lot, but I would love to see some other mXm pick it up since its a friggin great racing game.

This looks amazing! GTA style.bWhat is cool is I know the city of Chicago inside and out in my 12 years living there and doing outside sales there so I should feel right at home with this game. Cant wait!

That is really cool! I like easter eggs like that in games. It makes you pay attention to all details so I try to look for things like that. Also, if you look it up online in Nuketown2025, you can play old activision games on the large outdoor screen in the game. Check it out for youself:

The reviews on this game are around 91% on Metacritic. The word is the single player takes all of the best elements of Red Dead Redemption, Assasins Creed, and COD and mash it up and deliver an incredible single player experience. The multiplayer I have read is average at best but I will not be buying this for the multiplayer. Looks like a purchase for me as it looks friggin awesome~ O~

I wanted to bring up this topic and hear your thoughts as video game sales are down 30% over last year. Here are a few points I want to make that bring this topic to light. 1. Mobile gaming- This isnt to say that people are jumping ship from consoles to play on their smart phones or tablets, but the price structure of micro transactions to get fulfilling games like Angry Birds at either Free - $2.99 price range is causing the $60.00 price tag to look very steep. Sometimes when looking at the PSN store, there are some really cool games I see at $14.99- $19.99 but in the back of my head I am thinking, Ill wait for the price drop. SONY and MICROSOFT need to adjust their thinking on the pricing of their back catalogue. 2. CALL OF DUTY is eating its own. The good and bad of the bazillion copies of COD that sell every year is it canniblizes the industry. For example, my stepson used to play alot of different games, and now with his COD addiction I dont have to spend nearly as much as I used to because its in his PS3 24/7. I know not all gamers play COD, but for those who are addicted, its the only thing they play. 3. How Big is it?!?!? No, I am not talking about your package, but the big budgets these games are getting these days and all the big sequels that get millions of dollars on a sure thing. It seems companies will spend 50million on game development just to make 1-2 million dollars on a game. If it whiffs and tanks, it can literally put a game developer out of business in one fell swoop. This is why less variety and development goes towards new IPS. 4. How Long is it??!? - Part of the decline is the life cycle of the next gen consoles. We are well into the 7th and 8th years of the PS3 and Xbox 360 hardware. We have seen all these machines can do and alreay hear developers say they need more power for more action on the screen. I am not a graphics whore by any means, but 8 years is a long time without a new shiny box under my TV. 5. Digital Content- This really is the part that pisses me off! (which I like to think is an intelligent game consumer) Digital downloads being priced $59.99! The exact same price for a physical copy from a store so I cant sell it back to Gamestop and get some money for it! Do they think we are stupid!??! If they would drop digital downloads by 10.00-15.00 they would see a large increase in downloaded content. People know part of the retail cost is the shipping and delivery and packaging, so why charge us the same price as the overhead costs? Really insulting!!! These are just a few points that I have noticed that are crippling the gaming industry. I really would like to hear your opinon on some of these topics as I love to talk video games and the industry as a whole. O~

mXm, please dont forget to ask Santa for a copy of NFS:MW! So far I think Balz, Fallguy, and myself have this. This game is amazing just like Burnout Paradise was but more streamlined with real cars. This needs to be in your heavy rotation with your game of choice. For me it will be BlackOps II and NFS:MW, with some ACIII mixed in there... damn I wish I had more time! Are you hearing me Borderlands 2? Great to ba a gamer right now O!

This looks like the Sleeper hit game of the year. I probably wont pick this up right away but wanted you guys to put this on your radar. With ACIII, NFS:MW, BlackOpsII, and Borderlands 2, there are a ton of great games fighting for you time. This looks awesome!

You know, this argument you really need to compare apples to apples for this to make sense. I feel people try to compare the general community that simply plays team death match and nothing more, when in actuality, if you play Hardcore Search and Destroy, you will see alot of teamwork and alot of the things that made SOCOM so great. I am enjoying the shit out of this game and I feel its the best COD to date. It offers everything to everyone from the hardcore to the casual. You just have to peel the layers that fit for you. I feel there are alot of COD haters for no reason. Everyone wants to dog on COD because the community is so trashy, thats because every walk of life plays this game. This is why more and more I depend on my friends list to get the gaming experience I want. Dont base your opinion off of a KOTACO review. Your own clanmates can tell you firsthand, this is a fun game. Rent it on Gamefly and see for yourself. I think you are missing out. But then again, everyone's tastes are different. O~
