Id have to go with Abandoned, Rats Nest, Fishhook, Blizzard, Night Stalker, and nobody mentioned THE RUINS!!!! prob my favorite clan war map. Did anyone really play the cold front maps at all? How was the re-make of Blizzard and Night Stalker? The few times I played it felt S-L-O-W

I disagree Kotaco... SOCOM1 for me was Abandoned, Desert Glory, etc... this was a very balanced map for clan wars on back in the day... also, probably because of the original classic maps, Desert Glory was already done. I am sure they will do map packs of classic maps... that is if they plan on keeping the old school happy! we shall see...

You know... I have to say. The Socom community even to this day is unmatched in their loyalty and patience and dissapointment at the same time. If you have the chance on youtube, follow a guy named blackwidow88. He is a Socom fanatic and can get crazy at times but he is right. Zipper does not listen to its fanbase and what it wants. WE have a Deeper bond with the product that they created but have lost touch with. What does the community want? A true 8v8 tactical shooter that is like Socom 1 & 2. It was the most amazing experience as a gamer for me. Even after death during a round it was exciting to watch the tension of your last man fighting against 2-3 enemies camped in a tunnel on Abandoned with a claymore, or Death trap. oh man the thought of those classic battles still gives me chills that COD never will. True Socom gameplay will always outdue run n gun respawns any day of the week. Lets hope zipper doesnt suck too much of the Activision Cock that is COD. I am afraid that is going to be the case but lets just hope. O~

Sorry, only PS3 for me... no interest in Xbox, I dont have that much time to play the Ps3 as it is!

I just cant see paying 60 bucks for a SOCOM beta for a game I wont play (KZ3)... I mean I paid full price for Confrontation and it was in beta it felt like for a year! I'll wait for some feedback on the forums. Its sad that they have to bribe you to buy a game to get early access to a game that hasnt been great since SOCOM 2. Cmon Zipper! Please deliver the goods!

No complaints here. Driving a BMW from the dashboad view is spot on and the graphics are sweet. Wait until your race in the alps. I love the mountain ranges in the background

I fucking hated the Vitz... I had to upgrade it a bit to win that race... nothing more I hate than putting money in little matchbox cars... I agree with Ballz on the initial start up. The cheapest way to get quick horsepower is the air intake (filters etc.) on the earlier races (besides wheels in which I go medium tires, but for 3-5 lap races the soft tires wont wear out until you get to more extreme lap races) all you really need is an air in-take adjustment. Mistakes I have made in the past is dumping cars too early. I have been hanging on to them alot longer and peeking ahead to see what car requirements are. I havent had to buy back anything yet so my plan is working.

I have yet to play it but ill let you know what I buy first. I always did like the grinding in this game and the sense of accomplishment with every upgrade and car purchased. The torture of thanksgiving keeping me at bay from this game is brutal. Maybe this morning I can play with it before the in-laws get here and I have to start cooking.
