[mXm] FlyersFan
So I just got bf4 and I must say, it is taking me too long to get acclimated with the new controls. Sucks that we can't map the buttons the way we want them. Anyway, I can't seem to kill anyone no matter what weapon I'm using. I'm sure some of it has to do with the fact that I'm so far behind most players (they have better weapons and attachments unlocked) but I should be going better than 5-13, 6-15, and 7-14 type numbers I have been putting up. I seem to get shot behind cover or around corners a lot. For example, last night I was playing a I start taking fire. My first instinct is to go into a room on my left. I go into the room, go around a corner, and I die from a guy who is outside the room without a direct line of sight to me. I know this because it was a normal server which shows you the person who shot you when you die. This seems to happen too often. I started playing domination and conquest more so I can at least secure objectives thus get some points but I'm still struggling. Just thought I would share my frustration. I just assume the bullets hit me before I got to cover and it took the server a little long to register it.It could be something else, but to me that just makes the most sense. It took me a long time to get decent numbers too, and I still have real shit rounds unless I'm playing with someone who has a mic and coordinates. If I'm lone wolfing it, I usually get real shitty K/D, but I focus on the objective so it doesn't really bother me that much.
[mXm] kotaco
The low level weapons were definitely weak compared to the higher levels ones when I played. It made being new a real pain. It also seemed like people just ran around with snipers setup with iron sights and no scoped and such as well, which annoyed me. I know they have released a bunch of latency patches but the current big issue is rubber banding.
[mXm] andy19
I don't think I've ever experienced rubberbanding on the PS3 version. I've barely experienced any lag whatsoever (maybe 2-3 times it was really noticeable) in the 102 hours I have into the game. All the complaints seem to be coming from PC players from what I can tell. [mXm] andy19
Also, you can now get the BF4 shortcut kits. I think it's $15 to unlock all weapons (not the attachments though).I spent $5 getting the DMR kit, and they had the pistol kit for free not long ago. Not sure if it still is. [mXm] 404 Not Found
Flyers, I am still in the noob phase as I haven't played it much but I will hop on with you and share the suck! heheh...
[mXm] BOLD Edition
That sounds really frustrating, man. I have successfully avoided BF4 for the moment; I really wanted to play it, but, gaming priorities intervened. I do prefer the Battelfield over the Call of Duty series. BF is a much better game when working with a team. CoD is great for those quick fix games, where you just want to shoot some people. I much prefer Battlefield overall, but with less and less people playing as a team, I'm leaning towards CoD for my next shooter, whenever they both release a new game.
