[mXm] BOLD Edition
I am just going to come right out and say it. Guardians of the Galaxy is the best MARVEL film produced (to date). Highly accessible for non-comics readers, enjoyable and entertaining for the die hards and a great example of what a superhero "team" movie can be. [mXm] 404 Not Found
A friend of mine took his kids to see this movie and said he was shocked at how good it was. Ill have to check it out... when it comes to DVD... Hard to get to the movies with a 2 yr old. :surrender:
[mXm] andy19
I've liked most of the comic book movies lately. There have been some bad ones, but I'd say a solid 75-80% are really good to watch. I'll have to get out and see this. The wife likes them as well, even with neither of us being comic book people, they're still very entertaining.

The creators and directors put in enough easter eggs to appease everyone who reads comics; but these films are really for you. All of these films are enjoyable in some way and we all benefit for sure. This one was far and away the best effort by MARVEL. I'd say DC's best comics film effort is their top two or three animated films featuring Batman (Red Mask), Superman (All Star), or the Wonder Woman. No doubt, ODlN, it is a challenge to get to a movie with a two year old! It is why 95% of the games I play or the films I see are after everyone goes to bed. Its a concession, but at least I get to participate; even if its off calendar so to speak. 404 Not Found
[mXm] kotaco
I enjoyed Iron Man 1 & 3, Capt 2 and the Avengers more than Guardians, but that's not to say that it was bad by any means, it was a good time.
[mXm] BOLD Edition
I have seen this film too many times already! My night-gig company reserved three screens pre-release for us to view the film; then I saw it on opening night and then a third time because one of my friends was too scandalized to be seen enjoying it alone. I have enjoyed all of the subtle hints and nuances that were included; each viewing I have picked up on something different that has appeased my hardcore comics sensibilities. I love when that happens!
[mXm] srans
Have you guys heard about the deadpool film?
[mXm] BOLD Edition
Yep, the one that isn't being made? I saw an article with a sample reel of what it could have been. Looked really good. Its unfortunate its not getting any production time.
