[mXm] andy19 Posted April 10, 2011 Report Share Posted April 10, 2011 So we sold our 2005 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4x4 the other day, so we've been looking for a car for her once she goes back to work after maternity leave. Today we went to see a 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo SS, liked it so much, we bought it. It's in great condition, only has 116,000km (~72,000 miles) on the body, and 75,000km (~47,000 miles) on the engine. The original had been driven for quite a while with absolutely no oil in it, and it destroyed the bearings in the engine, so a 3.8L V6 was taken from a Buick to replace it. Everything runs well, very well maintained. The guy we bought it from is a mechanic with an absolutely gorgeous garage (with a hydraulic hoist and everything). Took great care of it. It's completely fully loaded, every option available, and lots of power. I'm quite looking forward to picking it up later this week once the safety/e-test is done. I've loved this car since this generation came out, and am glad we got one. It's not this specific one, but this is what it looks like.
