[mXm] BalzOnYer4Head
No issues with that here at mXm. We have always treated girl gamers the same as we do guy gamers. They are gamers, and that is all we care about.
[mXm] 404 Not Found
I was reading this in bed last night... sickening! I think the sad thing about the internet is it allows people like this to say whatever they want and hide behind a computer

[mXm] BOLD Edition
It is about more than being a girl or guy gamer, though. The point is, women in the industry (my friend Brianna is a game designer and owner of her own game company), who speak out about inequality in the gaming industry (jobs, lack of strong female characters or diversity in games, etc) have their lives threatened for speaking out. I am a pretty vocal opponent of racism in a number of arenas that I compete (tech industry, comics industry, gaming industry, cycling industry, visual design industry, etc, etc) and face a lot of racism as a result. No one has threatened my life or my family. If I am lucky it won't happen, because I'd have to show my hand at that point. I have no tolerance for racism and have lived with some form of it my entire life. Back to the point, however, women have an equal place in this industry as leaders, writers, designers, gamers, journalists, enthusiasts, etc. These cats who speak out against them are a niche group who have an influential voice, even if it is mainly within their own bubble. The fact it reverberates outside of that bubble is when it starts to really cause problems, like it is for my friend who has been run out of her home. 404 Not Found
