I was reading some debates on future content related things and one of the main requests was to make the Sparrow worth something other than transportation. Like put some guns on there and make it more useful. I am all for that. I found upgrading the Sparrow very marginal at best. What I do know is Bungie is always listening. Seeing the enemies up top makes me think it was intended for you to get up there somehow. To get to those guys, all you do is come down the hill behind them. You don't have to go across the Hellmouth because you can go around it. There is a lot of gameplay on the edges of it and those mobs are part of it. The Hunter in the video wouldn't be able to get across without using that move and that is called a SUPER; none of the other two classes, Titan or Warlock have anything like that which could get them across. Nor any vehicle. Its just a clever way to use the Hunters super kill move to get across. Technically you are not supposed to be able to do that with any character.
