Haha thank you so much Dakota and everyone else! So Wesley Michael, was born on 4/29/11, weighing in at 9lbs 10oz and 21in. He was a tough one to come out, it took 46 hours of active labor for the doctor to pull her head out of her ass to give the okay for the C-section. Anyways, g2g baby's crying!

Love,
Deuce

wow!!! how is mama doing? How often are you getting up at night?!?! give us some details when you can. I see you online throughout the day. Hit me up when you can.

O~

When my son was born, he was usually up every 3 hours on the dot for feeding. We got really lucky and by 2 months he was pretty much sleeping through the night.

The 3 of us will have some stories to share I am sure. I plan on being up all night and letting my wife sleep since I work from home and can sneak naps in off and on during the day. And maybe play some ps3 in the wee hours of the night. What is cool is our due date is December 9th and she will be off for 6 weeks over the Christmas break... very nice!

Andy do you plan on having any more?!

Hello and thank you Chad! Mama is great and the nights are rough! You are truely in for a treat Chad ahahahaha. We've been on a 2-3 hour feeding schedule because he lost more than 10% of his weight within 2 days of being born. So to answer your question about how many times we wake up at night I'll have to say 3-4 times. Just break it up in shifts, such as, your wife gets the 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock then you get the 3 and 6 o'clock. At least that's what we've been doing. Since Wesley has now gained his weight back we're talking about just going to a "supply and demand" method which is pretty common. All you do is feed or troubleshoot when they cry. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful journey so far and i'll do anything for this lil guy. I never really knew i could love some thing this much! For God sakes i made him from scratch!

I've heard that's common, losing the weight. My little guy didn't have any milk for maybe a day and lost about that much...he just wouldn't latch onto the breast. Pumped and bottle fed instead.

It's the best feeling in the world, eh? It only gets better once they start showing more of their own personality. The first laugh is the best.

Yeah i agree with Andy, the first laugh just makes your heart melt and make you love even more being a parent. The first smile is a treasure too :) My daughter lost some weight too, that's normal soon your little guys going to be packing on those chunky rolls. Giselle was up every 2 hours, i was really stressed out lol.

Deuce where are those pictures!?

It sure was his birthday day and considering the fact the our family was 1500 miles away it was still a blast. We had a true Silicon Valley birthday, we FaceTimed with the 2 IPad's and Skyped with a our cellphones, and the whole family sang happy birthday to Wesley at the same time. Good times for adapting and over coming.
