[mXm] kotaco Posted January 27, 2012 Report Share Posted January 27, 2012 Some of you may or may not already know I have an unhealthy obsession with the Resident Evil game series (The movies are ok.. don't represent the game fairly at all.) Well this year a couple of games and another movie are coming out. PS3 Games: Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (By Slant Six nonetheless) Resident Evil 6 And another movie which I will no doubt see regardless of the poor representation of the game: Resident Evil Retribution Just thought I'd share. Anyone have this? I still want to get it, I think the reviews are jaded, if it's not like Call of Duty it gets bad reviews it seems. For example, I thought Duke Nukem was a great game, it played just like it should and was funny all the way, but it got bad reviews because it wasn't an HD cinema quality game, even though it wasn't supposed to be! Aranki Posted May 2, 2012 Report Share Posted May 2, 2012 Well, I'll let you guys in on this. I pre-ordered RE: ORC, and was there to pick it up for midnight release. The game is pretty much a cluttered mess of bugs, broken game mechanics and absolute nonsense. The only fun I actually had in the game was the few times during co-op and when I wasn't facing a Hunter. Because when a Hunter is more powerful than the Tyrant B.O.W...there's a problem.... I have taken the game back and have not regretted it. I will gladly take a torch to that game and piss on the ashes. But...that's just my opinion. lol. [mXm] kotaco Posted May 2, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2012 Well I'll say that while I was playing RE 1 and 2 hunters were the last thing I ever wanted to see, the tyrant type they use in ORC is from RE2 and that guy was pretty easy to avoid in the games so I didn't mind him.
