[mXm] andy19
Has anyone else seen this? I know there have been attempts at making a semi-self-driving car before, but nothing has come this close to being successful. I like the concept - not to take away the driver 100%, but to act as an enhanced cruise control. This would definitely make my commute a lot easier every day. http://www.autoblog.com/2010/10/14/video-abc-news-gets-taken-for-a-spin-in-googles-self-driving-t/ Check out the video...very cool! On a related note - Dakota, can we get an automotive board?

[mXm] BalzOnYer4Head
Call me old fashioned but I would rather be the one in control at all times. Might be good though for people who look at a vehicle as merely an appliance, as long as they have their own special lane and stay the fuck outta my way. I agree with you there, but there are definitely times when I'd rather have someone else do the majority of the driving, like the 7 hour all-highway driving to my parents', or the commute to work in the morning after a late night hockey game (such as tonight).
