Clan mXm - Server Updates

Well as you all know by now, we have rented a &quot;private&quot; server for use by Clan mXm members, friends and the general public. The server is doing well, we have a nice banner graphic up with one variation of our logo, and activity is staying pretty constant&#33;<br />

We are going to do our best to keep this server funded and online as long as it continues to get a fair amount of use. It&#39;s a great tool for recruitment, as well as spreading our kind of gameplay style.<br />
<br />
In order for the server to stay populated, it must remain on the hardcore preset. I know some of you like Deuce for example, prefer the Third Person view in aircraft but doing so would require a custom preset and would drop the activity in the server to mXmbers only as the vast majority of players have their server browsers filters set to exclude custom server presets. So sorry about that&#33;<br />

I also have broken out the old USB keyboard and will be taking a proactive role as a server admin, sending out thank you messages to those who frequent our server, as well as ban messages to those who are thought to have abused it, offering a chance at contesting their ban. I feel this does well for representing out clan as who we are, fair and involved with our community.<br />

I&#39;ve included a quick graph showing the activity level over the past 24 hours, if you&#39;ll take notice of the drastic increase in activity over the most recent span of time, you&#39;ll see that even as [mXm] signed off the server kept alive. Good stuff&#33;<br />

Please let myself or Balz know about any concerns, any comments you have or any suggestions. In the future I hope we will be able to bring back the traditions of &quot;mXm Birthday Bashes&quot; and other types of virtual gaming parties to celebrate whatever we can, and have a custom server banner image to match&#33;<br />
