What dont you like about the multiplayer? I don't like the run n gun respawn stuff, I thought it'd be slower than it is. I haven't tried hardcore yet though. I was just raised on SOCOM style small teams playing much slower

[mXm] 404 Not Found
I think its better than COD only because its a little bit slower and the maps offer a ton more places to find cover and use more tactics. Its the EXACT same control setup as COD so you willl feel right at home with it in about 10 minutes. Is the game perfect? NO... right out of the box I think it plays nice for the first week of launch. With a few tweaks and updates and DLC I think it will find its way into my PS3 pretty often. I will buy Black OPS i guess because I just love opening new games and smelling the wrapper (LOL) but I doubt I will stick with that over MoH because the COD formula wears on me. overall I give MoH online an 8. HeroicJayneCobb
the only thing i dont like about online, but i will still play it, is theres 2 differnt controller settings for SP and MP; and no going prone in MP. other than that its decent. [mXm] BalzOnYer4Head
[quote name='HeroicJayneCobb' timestamp='1287234281' post='153'] i guess the idea is no prone = no camping lol thats the idea at least. However there is still plenty of camping, but I gotta say, the more I play online the more I like it. It's essential though to play with some communicators. Also hardcore is the way to go. No radar bullshit, one to three bullets drop an enemy and ya gotta use your sights. It definitely sucks in the begining cause your weapon is so basic, but I was rippin off 24/11 games before the end of the night. Some of the maps are just really badly designed. They allow to easy for sniping from one spawn to the other, and they acted like they never heard of the concept of spawn camping when they designed the maps. As with all shooters, a little teamwork can overcome these failings from DICE. The M60 is a beast and fairly accurate. Red dot sight helped immensely, and the MP7 is straight nasty up close and at medium range with controlled bursts. Havent dicked around with the shotguns yet cause I havent really found a map to use em on. Also that unlock tier is a waste to me because I already have the shotgun from my GS preorder. Come and play with Balz. Tis fun!
HeroicJayneCobb
no fire select or sliding behind cover either :( my only REAL complaint however, is the mics. WHERE IS MY MUTE?! just played the "lets TK the dickhead" game for 20 mintues before the game autobooted me. first they start talkin shit on balz, then apperntly i was in an exclusive sniping spot that only dickhead was allowed to be in and he threatene to TK me for it, i beat him to the punch. after that it was "your gay you cant get laid you suck im gonna TK you" him and his fuckhead twin butt buddy. wheres my ability to a) find out who is talking since theres no indicator as to whose voice you hear; and whers my ability to shut them up??????????? swear to god if his baby screamed and cried one more time in teh background i was going to kill his whole family. dont play games until your kids know how to shut the fuck up! [mXm] 404 Not Found
the reason why the game layouts are different is because the online and single player are two totally seperate game engines. Danger Close did the single player build while DICE did the online... I find it a bit strange that the 2 studios wouldnt have wanted to synch up the gameplay mechanics... it defeats the whole purpose of "let me play the single player to prepare my online game experience" since the single player is a different game. [mXm] BalzOnYer4Head
Medal Of Honor's New Clean Sweep Mode Is Mostly Free Four minutes, two teams, and no respawns. That's the basic description of Medal of Honor's new Clean Sweep mode, available on November 2 as a free download for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, unless you bought the game used. Clean Sweep is a quick and dirty online mode for Medal of Honor in which two teams compete to kill each other. The catch? Neither team respawns, so when you're dead, you're dead. It's the sort of mode in which heroes are made. As long as one player on your team survives, there's still hope. The new mode goes live on November 2, packaged with two new maps - Bagram Hangar and Khyber Caves - and redesigned versions of the existing Diwagal Camp and Kabul City Ruins. And it's free, as long as you have an Online Pass. Part of EA's continuing efforts to lessen the impact the used game market has on its bottom line, the Online Pass is a special code only available in new copies of Medal of Honor. If someone loses that code or buys the game used, a replacement can be purchased from inside the game for $9.99. So basically what owners of used copies of Medal of Honor have to ask themselves is if this new multiplayer mode worth the $9.99? Well is it? [mXm] andy19
I think I'm going to buy this game! Purely for this reason. It was freakin awesome and I had fun with the onlne. However this is MoH we're talkin about here. I am seriously stoked about this little DLC. Free and right up our clans play style. I like how its four minutes, keeps it nice an neat. But they better fix the no chat in the lobby BS. Other than that, stoked for Nov 2nd again. Just not near as much as before. HeroicJayneCobb
ok i LOVE MoH campaign; best game ever in my opinion. online is another story. with a clan we could dominate!!! playing alone.... sucks. took less than 2 weeks for the community to figure out how to spawn camp from the start. so within approx 30 seconds you have at least 6 snipers killing ANYONE that runs out a door or an opening... and 4 guys that stay /just/ outside the spawn zone so as soon as you respawn BOOM dead. which then leads to 10-12 of your guys in one big group only to be hit with a rocket strike, or mortar, or hellfire. starting to hate MP on MoH :)
