I am seriously considering a PS4 for the release of Watchdogs. It is definitely my preferred type of game; plus its next-gen, which I will appreciate. The question is, who else in the group will be getting it? I am certain once this game drops, then I'll be leaving GTAV (perhaps for good), like many of you seem to have done already :) If it looks like I won't have a group of heavies to run with in this particular game, i'll probably wait until September when Destiny finally releases.

Not true Clarence, we all have this game on our radar as well as The Division. This will be a day one purchase for me. Right now I am digging Infamous Second Son. If you liked the first 2 games, this one is a shinier, prettier version.

I am really glad to hear that I am wrong about you all not being interested in the game; that basically solidifies a May purchase for me, with this ushering in my transition to PS4. I didn't play Infamous, but I should, given that I hail from Seattle (by way of the south. NOTE: this just means I was born in the south, but grew up in Seattle mostly).

I lived in Chicago for 12 years so I am stoked about playing the game as I know downtown very well. You should be interested in Infamous Second Son as its a very accurate representation of Seattle they say but they took some liberties in making it video game friendly. Its a ton of fun.

I think Watch Dogs has the potential to unseat GTAV if it can pull off what I think it is in my mind.... this recent trailer is just sick! the Welcome to Chicago one.

First impressions are high fidelity graphics and great sound (using ps4 surround headphones). Characters moves slower than say GTAV; easy to get obsessed looking in their business, hacking phones. Hacking ctos will take some getting used to. Driving may need a sensitivity bump or three. It doesn't feel BIG yet but I'm playing after 10hrs on third-shift. Can someone ping Kotoco to unlock and reset my password?!? I emailed him ;) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

First thing I noticed is how clean the game looks... you definitely cant judge graphics by YouTube or internet vids as they are compressed and are never 1080p, but it feels good so far. Too early to judge, but I do like how every person in the game has a story... Job, income etc. so when you kill someone or check someone out you get info on them. It kind of puts a life to person instead of just killing random people. I inverted my Y axis and cranked up the movement speed to 100% on my aim and it feels good.

My wife has some college work to do tonight so I hope to spend a lot of time with it after 9pm.

I didn't even try online. Just wanted to get a feel for it. Played for maybe an hour. Haven't even taken over the first CTOS thing. The driving mechanics are taking a little getting used to. The vehicles seem a little light in the physics. Haven't really had a chance for gunplay yet, and I have been a bit shy about using it, as I am not wanting to come up on the police radar just yet.

One thing I will say is that Watch_Dogs is REALLY fun when played via remote play on the Vita. I can't pinpoint exactly why I feel this way, but it is very entertaining on the handheld. I found it almost easier to play on the Vita. VERY accessible. Considerably more so than FFXIV and even Infamous:Second Son (which put in a LOT of work to make the Vita remote play experience unique). I will say that driving in Watch_Dogs on the Vita (especially in first person view) feels much more responsive using the Vita. Illogical, I know. But true in my experience. I have also been playing the CTos mobile app versus console players. It is actually a pretty enjoyable (and sometimes intense) experience. Have also started doing some hacking online 1 v 1 against other players. Hacking their phone and trying not to get profiled/killed while they look for me.

Noticed that you can't directly look for/add your friends to one of these online sessions. Its random. They need to make it so you can invite your friend into your game and then do scenarios. I am REALLY surprised that isn't an option from the start.

I'm downloading the ctOS app on my Nexus 7 now. Looks like fun.  I've been having fun with the BF4 Commander app, so I think this will be similar.

I like when the developers add an extra touch like this so you can play a bit when you're not right at your console.

So I got one game in with with Balz (me on Android tablet, him on ps4) before the app crashed and then I couldn't link my psn account with uplay, but it was fun. I definitely need more practice, or just run through the tutorials a few more times, but good time were had. Nice to see I can still game with the clan even without a PS4.

That was indeed fun. I cold tell you were either just getting familiar with it, or there was a lag between what you told it to do and what happened in game for me, or both. Seemed like you picked up on what to do about halfway through the "race" and then you were just a tick behind getting the CTOS stuff to try and impede.
