Its a big chunk of change in a modest budget for sure, but I'll definitely be putting this on my "must have" list to acquire somehow lol.

While it is expensive, I like the fact they don't have an outrageous price like they did with the PS3, although it did have some cutting edge technology.
I think I can convince the wife/parents/in-laws to split on one for me for Christmas or my birthday.

yeah this looks pretty awesome..i'm definately gonna switch to ps4 over the xbox if i have the funds to do so when it comes out.

Very true, I think I put out 499 or 599 for my PS3. I'm very greatful it has this long too.

I was surprised but happy to see it beat the Xbox this time around in price.

I hope drive club is awesome, especially because I am a little concerned that they just pretty much threw some stuff together for gran turismo 6 and it may not be up to its usual standards of awesomeness.

Yeah, I'm severely disappointed in GT6, and I've only played the demo.
I hope they've had a second team working on a PS4 racing game at the same time.
Or get Microsoft Studios to recreate Forza for PS4, but that's just dreaming.

Hey nobody ever saw Blizzard developing for Playstation as something that would happen, but they are! But yeah maybe Microsoft Studios making the jump would be too much, although it would be a great way to stick it to Playstation if they created a number 1 game on a competitors platform.

I could see that happening if they ever did get Forza on Playstation.
IMO Forza is a much better experience than GT. Polyphony really needs to step up their game, and GT6 doing that.

I was a late adopter of the PS3 because I was waiting for good games to come out, but I feel the PS4 has some strong launch titles and will be pre-ordering this bad boy... great price point as well. And yes Andy, the price point of the PS3 is why I didn't buy day one.... Drive Club being made by the Motorstorm guys is a must buy for me. Im a big fan of Evolution Studios and their games.
