South Park: The Stick of Truth

Coming to PS3 this Holiday Season

I found out about this and at first I thought it would be another crappy South Park game, but then I saw the developer was Obsidian (Fallout New Vegas, Neverwinter 2, Dungion Siege III, etc) and the publisher was Ubsisoft so I looked into it.

It looks like a goodtime. RPG style, you take on the role as the new kid in South Park on the "epic quest to become *cue Carman voice* kewwwwwl". You'll go on fighting or interacting with nearly every character in the show. You'll fight hippies, crab people, mongolians, gingers, vampire kids, gnomes, etc.

Obsidian was directly approached by the creators of South Park and Matt & Trey wrote the game's script and are involved first hand in its development. Voices are done by them, and the game is created to play as if you were directly in the show with its construction paper look and feel.

You can also customize your character.

Oh Hell Yes!!

I havent watched in a long time but damn it if that isnt going to be hours of laughing my ass off! I was cracking up just watching the trailers.

They are putting the content they cut from the game into Season 17 in some form whenever that comes out :)

Game is well worth the money for the script/writing/story alone. It's like a giant episode of South Park.
