[mXm] andy19
Id say thats the best description I can think of, 'just like all other GTAs but better', and it's pretty damn good.
[mXm] BalzOnYer4Head
Agreed. I am at 45 percent and taking time with the game. I usually blaze through the story line then quickly lose interest. Now I am finding packages/collectables, driving around, going on random killing sprees, any side mission that pops up when I am en-route to do something, I take, exploring the map. Its fun, I get lost in it, I laugh often cause of the hi-jinx that I can cause, get in to. I even laugh at some of the ways I die, like I was searching for a sunken plane out in the ocean, and I noticed this red dot on my map near me in the middle of the ocean. I was like, hmm, whats that, I dont have any stars...then CHOMP, I got nommed by a shark. I grabbed a jet ski once I got out of the hospital, drove back to that spot in the water, and waited for the shark, and killed it. Then I cut its fins off and made shark fin soup. I made that last part up. Its not an if man, its a when. Go buy it already, the story is great, cars are so much better, as is weapon handling, the gui is easy to get used to and smart how it was implemented. Also, boobs. If I had one bad thing to say about it, is the music stations for me aren't as good as some of the prior games. There are some good jams, but just not enough. [mXm] andy19
One part in particular I like is the ability to skip certain sections. If I'm getting killed over and over and just can't finish part of a mission, I can skip it. So far I've only skipped one, as Trevor when I have to go to a competitor's farm to kill everyone and blow it up. Kept dying trying to take out the 10 or so guys I was up against before getting into the farmhouse, so skipped right into where I could walk in, pour gas, and blow that mofo up. I'm getting real close to using it a second time as well - Trevor's first heist. How the fuck can you outrun cops on a 2 star wanted level with a fucking garbage truck?! It can't go faster than 2mph. You have to hide man. Take a bunch of turns and either look for little alleys you can duck in to, or try to drop out of their sight with elevation. A lower overpass or barrel down a hill. Quickly and then find a hide spot. I haven't skipped once.
[mXm] kotaco
80% done, working on random events (which aren't really random, just prescripted once you hit an area), packages, etc. There are a lot of hidden messages/codes/easter eggs out there if you have the patience for it, but I gotta admit having beat most of the fun stuff it's getting a little dull for me, I'm surprised they took out a lot of the things you could do in GTA IV, the comedy clubs and buying multiple safe houses, etc. But once GTA Online hits hopefully that will have more things to explore, they could potentially suck a lot of money out of me with DLC though. [mXm] Colt_Seavers
I've been taking my time with the story as well. Tons of side missions and bullshit to get into. I found out that when you are running from the cops and the wanted stars are blinking just go stealth in some bushes and they can't find you lol. [mXm] srans
I second the going on foot idea. it seems so much easier to lose the police on foot than in a car
[mXm] kotaco
Lose 1-5 stars in a couple minutes underground.
