I don't have the greatest internet in the world, but my stream was pretty stable/smooth and didn't hurt my gameplay at all. You can include picture in picture and do live commentary with the PS Eye camera thing, and a headset. Live commenting comes through pretty much instantly on your TV as people comment if you have that option turned on. It's pretty neat.
