I haven't played it either. Was waiting for the patch that fixes the corrupted save file issue. Are you saying this has been addressed?

A while back it was, that was one of their first fixes I believe. The second patch was just server stability and hit detection stuff I believe.

I beat the single player and am working on unlocking things when I have spare time.

How it this Battlefield compared to BF3 ? (Not Counting the Obvious issues )

I am not to stressed about the Chat thing anymore now that there is a chat system on the PS4 .. that was my biggest issue with Battlefield ...

Basically just wondering if it is just Battlefield 3 with Different maps? (Like COD always is .. )

Or is there a Noticable difference?

As far as gameplay goes, it's the same. I stick to Conquest mode, as I did with BF3, so there's no noticeable difference.

By two biggest issues with the game:
- you can't join a room with a couple friends as a squad. You have to join separately and hope there's a) enough empty spots still, and b ) you get on the same team.
- Server filters don't hide full rooms. You can go page after page after page of full rooms before seeing one that has a single spot, and by then it's usually full. It's such a pain in the ass, it's unbelievable.

Aside from those two caveats, I'm really enjoying the game. I can sit there and play for hours and not get bored with it.

I haven't spent enough time with it to make a final judgment, but it does have enough options to please everyone. From TDM, to Conquest (classic BF), and new modes like Obliteration (Think SOCOM's demolition) where there is a random bomb on the map as both teams fight to pick it up and plant at 3 random locations. Defuse is like Obliteration but its one lifer per round and 5v5.

I think they have done a great job at taking on COD by adding all of the game modes to please the COD die hards and also please the BF diehards. I think this game offers a lot more variety of gameplay than COD does. My main beef with the game so far is the mics. Why in 2013 does it seem so hard to implement a good voicechat system. the PS4 party chat will be the way to go when we get 2+ mXm in a game to communicate.

To answer your question Induced, I was not a fan of BF3 for 2 reasons: The maps were bland and the 30 FPS effected my aim. BF3 just didn't keep my interest.

BF4 however addresses all of my past issues (except the mic). The maps are varied with many levels (high, mid, low points to please snipers to assault and shotgunners)

This is a must buy if you are a PS4 owner. There is plenty to do here with enough variety to keep you coming back again and again.

(also to note: As of 12/14 I have not seen any crashing or freezing in my gameplay. A little lag here and there but nothing to make me frustrated. Stability will only get better as DICE fixes the main issues hampering the game).
